Leadership

Dennis Aldy is the Director of the House of Prayer Hattiesburg, a ministry of worship and intercession with the similarity to the Tabernacle of David.

After beginning his career as an electrical engineer, Dennis and his wife Dara attended Emmaus Road Ministry School in search of God's purpose for their lives. While attending, the Lord burned into their hearts the vision to establish a Church whose foundation was based upon intercession, holiness, outreach, prophecy, and community.  Following many prophetic confirmations and personal encounters, Dennis soon moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi and planted Servant Church.

While serving 13 years in pastoral ministry, the Lord began to draw Dennis into wholeheartedly embracing the mandate of night and day priestly ministry.  With a dedicated history of prayer meetings, Dennis accepted the invitation to transition Servant Church to the House of Prayer Hattiesburg, creating an apostolic fellowship from the heart of a corporate Prayer Room.  In June of 2007, the House of Prayer was officially launched into 90 hours a week with many committed full-time intercessory missionaries.  Most of these missionaries have chosen to live with the principal work of their life being prayer, contending for the radical breakthrough of God's power on the earth.  By the Lord's grace, the HOP vision of city-wide intercession rapidly grew into an operational, thriving reality.

Dennis currently serves as Director of the House of Prayer.  He preaches at the fellowship services, counsels others from the Scriptures, and leads various mission trips.  He also has been actively involved in prison ministry, youth sports, servant projects, and community service.  Dennis, Dara, and their seven children are all deeply involved within the House of Prayer.  Dennis' teaching emphasizes how to grow in passion for God through encountering Jesus Christ and His righteousness.
