Process of Involvement

Application:
All those who desire to join HOP Staff must complete an application for an internship or training program. Applications may be picked up at the HOP-Hb reception area or downloaded here.

Pastoral Recommendation:
Those applying are required to have a Pastoral Recommendation form completed by the spiritual authority who is closest in relationship to the applicant.

Training Program:
Before officially becoming full-time, part-time, or builder Staff, individuals are required to complete an introductory training program in order to acquaint them with the vision, values, and message of HOP-Hb. Available training programs include Intro To HOP (10 one-hour sessions over 10 weeks) and The Burning Lamps Internship (4 month intensive program).

Orientation:
Following their internship or training program, new Staff members attend New Staff Orientation. During Orientation, each individual is given a Sacred Trust Form, which is a commitment form stating the hours he or she will serve in the prayer room, on worship teams, and in helps ministry. Each Staff member will be connected with a section leader for scheduling prayer room hours, outreach, and helps ministry involvement.
