Rebuilding Shattered Lives
Priscilla Girls Home No. 1 is now home to 48 children in a congested living space. In order to enlarge the shelter, we are building a roof over the small courtyard. We hope to have it completed by the Middle of June when the moonsoon sets in.
We already have 39 boys and 48 girls. Academically the girls and boys are doing very well. They have all passed their school exams and all have been promoted to the next grade. Praise the Lord for the timely contributions from friends in Mississippi, so that we were able to purchase all the school supplies for our children next year.
MEGA-CHURCH EXPLOSION
We have targeted opening 10 new mission fields in 2008. Recently the Lord has led us to open 4 new mission fields in and around Mumbai (Bombay) in the Maharashtra State of India. The new fields are Udgir, Kalyan, Indira Nagar, and Kolar. By the help of our Lord the Church is growing steadily. During the last four months, 119 people have received baptism.
We now need to open 6 more mission stations to reach our target for this year. During the month of June/July we hope to start ministries in Ahemdnagar and Aurangabad. These fields are within a 8 to 10 hours drive from Mumbai. Our missionaries are currently looking for places to rent where they can conduct worship services. Please pray for the protection of every one of these servants of God who are laboring for Him amidst fiery persecutions.
Our Pune City Mega Church has about 60 members. Pastor Prashant is leaving this with a local brother trained for this. Pastor Prashant is moving to Aurangabad city to begin Church Planting Ministry. Please pray for accomodation, his children's education, and his transportation, etc.
The School of Ministry
The school of ministry which starts in June is a six month long program where we train native missionaries. We usually accept several of these graduates into the church planting ministries. Please pray that the Lord will send His chosen ones.
Jennifer and Ester are the first fruits of our Girl's Home. They both completed the tenth grade in there high school and are preparing to go for Bible Studies in order to be missionaries. They will need about $25 per person each month to cover their food, accomodation, tuition, etc.

3. Our target for the year 09: 700 souls. We already have 141. We have to see 560 hundred more souls to be added to the Lord.
